Best Family Style Restaurants in North Reading

Awesome as always. Food was great and service was excellent. The churros come with the BEST hot fudge sauce ever!!!

Food was perfect! Hot, large portions, & great service. We love coming here, there’s always enough leftovers to have a another meal the next day. Chicken, pasta, seafood are all delicious and Denise our server was attentive, fast, friendly and checked on us often, she was great!

The front end manager handling reservations on a busy Friday night was so nice and accommodating. He even brought my jacket over to the table that I left at the bar. Service was a bit slow but understandable as it was busy. The food was good, such large servings! Next time, I’ve got to try the Regina pizza!

Each time my fiancé and myself go to Polcari’s the experience is top notch. The food is always outstanding. The waitress we have last night was phenomenal. This is why we pick this for our anniversary each year.

While we realize that this is a new venture after Covid, Chopps used to be much better. Gone are the servers who brought you coffee, tea and assorted beverages, making it a truly cafeteria style atmosphere. This may be what some people like but after the original Chopps, we were subjected to a less than stellar experience for brunch. The scrambled eggs were horrible. Coffee and tea are served in paper cups at a station. The omelet station was manned by one gentleman who was pleasant but really didn't know that you fold an omelet before presenting it. Fruits and waffles were good, as were the bacon, sausage and cereals. Hard to goof those things up. I don't believe we'll be going back to his version of Chopps unless we hear they have made some adjustments to their presentation.
