My wife's cosmo that she normally orders was not made to its usual standard. Our server had them make it over, but it still was not very good, so she had to completely change her drink order. We ordered one of our favorite apps, the meatballs, and that too was not up to its usual standard. However, the crab cakes were great, and our surf and turf was excellent. The lobster melted in our mouth n the steak was tender n juicy. Naomi, our server, was extremely gracious and attentive. She even had the manager come over n apologize for the drink problem we had. We absolutely loved being seated in the old train cart; it felt so romantic! We went for Valentine’s Day and had a prix fixe menu. For the appetizers, we had the The Grille’s Signature Crab Bisque and Caprese. Entrees, we had the Chateaubriand Bouquetiere and Rod’s New York Prime Sirloin Steak. The service is impeccable, the selection of mini sandwiches and desserts were not only delicious but beautifully presented. The maple pecan scone was the best I have ever had. I have had afternoon tea at top rated places around the world including in NYC and this compared to some of the best I have tried. Well- done all around.
