- JJacquelineCharlotte •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoServer was very personable and checked on us at regular intervals. The other staff were nice as well. (We had brunch which was a buffet). I don’t typically care for buffets, but the lines were short or non-existant. It was a plentiful buffet with a nice variety (I don’t eat meat) and some of the vegetables were seasoned with meat, but that was fine for my companions. Fresh made waffles and omelettes were delicious, as was all the food, but I love waffles. My husband enjoyed the prime rib center cut. Choice of beverages but I opted for the standard Mimosa. One over zealous sports enthusiast was too noisy but otherwise nice ambiance complemented by a lovely sounding musical duo. All in all it was an excellent afternoon. The brunch crowd was a laid back, friendly group. Note: The restaurant fees that you see in DC are showing up in the burbs now so be prepared for about $30 of those. If you have cash you can negate some of that.More infoThe Blackwall Barn and Lodge gambrillsPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Gambrills•4.6
- KKristaWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely restaurant in a warm, inviting brick-walled space. I was happy to see the same plates on the walls from their previous incarnation in Eastern Market DC! Friendly and efficient service, especially the latino woman that brought our water and bread and bussed our table - I didn’t catch her name but she was so personable and lovely she made my cousin’s birthday dinner even more special! Recommended: fabulous Bucatini with mushrooms (equals my fav mushroom pasta dish at Caruso’s Grocery), kale apple and goat cheese salad, fish of the day (grouper was cooked perfectly!), chocolate hazelnut semifreddo. I miss their giant meatballs from when they were at Eastern Market - They are still the standard that I compare all other meatballs to. I will just continue to visit, and hope they return to the menu!More infoAcqua al 2 - AnnapolisPrice: Expensive• Italian• Annapolis•4.8
- SSueBaltimore / Maryland •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe experience here was good. The food and service were good. It was busy, however, we were not waiting long for service. Cory was our server and he went above and beyond to accommodate my allergies and ensured my meal would not harm me. Always a good time and expertise eating at Cooper's Hawk. Shout out to the entire staff who ensured everyone's Thanksgiving day was memorable.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Annapolis, MDPrice: Moderate• American• Annapolis•4.4
