Katie, the manager, was a gem—sweet, welcoming, and so helpful in securing us the perfect bar seats. Dining at the bar turned out to be an absolute delight, thanks to our server, Karen. She was not only accommodating of my endless questions and modifications but went above and beyond to make the experience fun and engaging. Her kindness radiates, and she has a natural ability to light up the room. Karen wasn’t just our server—she was the highlight of the night! We ended up staying for an extra round or two, simply because we didn’t want to leave the great company. Karen, thank you for your exceptional service and for turning a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Mexican Sugar is lucky to have you, and we can’t wait to return!

We’ve been to this thirsty lion multiple times and I feel it’s better than some of the other ones we visited in the DFW area. The only downside is it’s pretty loud, even when I’ve gone on a weekday, but we just expect it now. The service is great, and the food is amazing. Tasty and very fresh and always hot. I definitely recommend making a reservation because instead of having to wait an hour, our table was ready when we arrived at 7 o’clock on a Saturday night.
