Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Los Alamitos / Cypress

My first experience here was to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our expectations were more than fulfilled. Tasting menu was smooth and everyone made it a special night for us. Definitely looking forward to coming back. It’s hard to pinpoint my favorite part of the menu because it was all so amazing. The octopus skewer was a new experience for me but really blew us away.

Food and service were great. The only issue was the incredibly high noise level. We had to raise our voices up pretty high to hear each other at the table. A very large room with high ceilings that could use something to lower the decibel level.

Such a nice option for client breakfasts during busy trade shows at the Anaheim convention center. The buffet is perfect for when time is a little tighter, and the food from the full menu and buffet both are delicious. Alfred (Fred) took exquisite care of us, and we all were grateful for the good, strong coffee before our long days on he show floor!

food was delicious , a bit busy on valentines dsy so it is understandable.. had 2 waiters , very polite , helpful, friendly. perfect service. only issue with open table and thirty acres is i booked a reservation for regular dining on valentines night at 7:15, we arrived at the restaurant and asked for our table right at 7:15 sharp. since there was a special valentines dinner event going on , i guess they prioritised those reservations and completely discarded my regular dining reservations. girlfriend and I had to argue our way into getting seated. if we didnt, we would have had to wait another 30-40 minutes just like the other people who DIDNT make reservations. im sure its not like that for regular nights without events. 5 stars for food and waiters service

Sunny Side Cafe has a lovely, bright diner layout with a great menu and amazing service! Too many great choices on the menu to name, but be sure to try the Key Lime Pie! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
