There is live Hawaiian music nightly, sometimes with a hula dancer. The food and service are always excellent. We had a reservation for a 3:30pm tour and showed up to be the only ones there (Thursday in March). My husband and I and our ~2 year old son sat on the patio for the sake tasting and were educated for 90 minutes (!) on the fascinating sake process, its history, and why Islander has made its home on the island. Chips are salsas are available but they do have a price tag. We like the chips and ordered a hot and a mild salsa. Both were good. We were surprised that there were few patrons here on a Monday evening. This is not your average Mexican fare.....it is upscale with unusual flavors.
