Best Authentic Restaurants in Anderson Township

Enjoyable experience. Loved the lamb entree. Persephone cocktail beautiful and delicious. Tasty appetizers and desserts. Service was pleasant and appropriate.

I spent nearly 10 years living in Louisiana. Sometimes I get craving authentic Cajun cuisine. Doesn't get more authentic than this. Gumbo here is SO good. Key to great gumbo is the roux. You can tell the painstaking attention to detail has been adhered to. Love this place. Live music (on a Saturday night), friendly, impeccable service without hovering (thank you, Tina!), incredible food and drink, and an owner, Joby, who cares about her customers. Perfect date night. Classic Italian dishes. Big portions. Seasoned perfectly. Good wine. Good service. Reasonably priced. Relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will come back.

Walked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.
