Best Restaurants for People Watching in Downtown / Sobro

Best steak ever!! Ambience was great too!! Crispy egg plant dish was also amazing.

Skyler was awesome per SOP! She is the quintessential waitress! We split a ceasar salad, and our mains; Dover sole and salmon were both delicious. The crab fried rice did not disappoint once again. Overall a great dining experience prior to the Mariah Carey concert.

This was our first time dining at The River House but it won't be the last. It is a lovely space with nice big windows that make it feel even larger than it is. The service was impeccable. We split the tableside Caesar salad and it was so nice to have the dressing taste so fresh instead of just poured on from a container. Definitely worth ordering. One of us had the Dover Sole and the other had the snapper and both were done perfectly. We shared the corn souffle and it was the best either of us has ever had. We will be back anytime we're in downtown Nashville.

There was a view of part of the city from the windows (this is located on the 8th floor). There was live music which was nice, but it was so loud which made it difficult to hear unless you spoke directly into someone's ear. There were a number of things that were were not available from the menu (crossed out on the menus). The décor was modern and there is a patio for when the weather is contusive to outdoor dining. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant.

Ole Red doesn’t take Opentable reservations. Don’t be fooled by booking. It’s won’t get you in any faster. They don’t open till 11am but the Opentable reservations are from 10-1045 and it auto checks you in. Something isn’t set up correctly with the software. Food just ok, entertainment and ambiance great. Bloody Mary same you get on an airplane they can do better and they know it. It’s a cool spot but you don’t come here for the food. Band was incredible the day we were there.
