Dine in one of our custom designed Igloos By the Sea at The Coast Guard House. There is an igloo rental fee for $100 for three hours. Each igloo is outfitted with a Bluetooth speaker, fireplace and heater. However, we do recommend dressing warmly and/or in layers. Our full menu is available for your enjoyment. We can not guarantee any specific igloo. Igloo reservations can be cancelled in inclement weather. There is a credit hold for $20 per person to complete your reservation.     Our reservation was ready on time. Our drinks were great (really great) and service was excellent. Our food was out quickly and our waitress was attentive. Not only that, but our busboy was also attentive. We went to Sienna after dinner to have dessert and after two cocktails, we had to get the check and didn’t have time for dessert because service was so slow and our table wasn’t ready in time. Would highly recommend Meritage for dates, girls night and I even saw a waiter giving an extra special dessert to a child - so families would enjoy too.

    Everything was delicious. The caesar salad was outstanding as always - so cold, fresh and flavorful. The Fleming's potatoes and sauteed mushrooms were the perfect sides. Both filets we ordered were cooked to perfection and the chicken dish was also amazing - the sauce was delicious - I wish there had been more of it!! The creme brulee and brownie desserts were gone in seconds at our table. As always, the restaurant made my mom's birthday dinner special with a card signed by the staff, some table decorations, and a delicious box of chocolates on the way out. Erica (a former student of mine) also went out of her way to make our dinner special - thank you Erica - we will be back!!
