Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Branford

We came here for our birthdays and we were incredibly blown away by the service and the food. We had shrimp and lobster wontons and the miso mustard was 10/10. Then for entree we had the petite filet and waygu hanger, both outstanding. Sides were whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. I would highly recommend this place the food was just amazing.

Outstanding Service, lovely food and charming atmosphere. Burgers, truffle fries, Desert Board and Gingerbread Chai Latte were very tasty. We were seated outside under heaters which was perfect thanks to good weather. They offered Seasonal Cocktails and they were passing hors d'oeuvres while we were waiting to be seated. This cafe is situated in Terrain and it was so beautifully decorated for Christmas including a snow machine. This was my 2nd visit and Restaurant staff are excellent.

The Tavern was the perfect choice for our mid-week birthday celebration. The additions to the fall menu are delicious with particular favorites: the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Acorn Squash Skins. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient and we appreciated Chef Alex’s table-side visit. We’ll be back!

Four of us had a very lovely late lunch. The only reason I did not give the food 5 stars was the fish & Chips had a bit too much coating on it.The waitress was excellent.
