Named after one of the first restaurants constructed in Hawai'i, by a Portuguese businessman named Peter Fernandez, Eating House pays homage to the popular casual eateries of the mid 19th century that incorporated a medley of flavors from the Island's growing and diverse communities.Please call the restaurant to make reservations for parties of 5 or more. For parties of 10 or more we require credit card information to hold the reservation, and follow a 48 hour cancellation/no show policy; any cancellations withing 48 hours of your reservation date, or not showing up to a reservation will result in a charge of $20 per person.

Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi poke, fried brie, fresh seafood, delicious steaks and vegan entrees too. Don't forget about our famous Banana Cream Pie for dessert! Take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the Koloa Rum shop, go on a rum safari adventure or take a ride on the plantation train.     From the moment the valet took our vehicle, we were taken care of immediately and attentively, not only with their service but with their smiles as well. at every point of our evening here we were greeting with welcoming smiles. our seating hostess was quick and attentive and our waitress was top notch! She was so helpful with the menu and took care of our every need. From the drinks and appetizers to the dessert, every dish was not only delicious, but beautiful! This was a simple date night for my wife and I while on the island, but the service and quality of the staff, food, and atmosphere at Red Salt elevated this to a truly memorable experience!

    Food and service were very good (as always). We were able to make a dinner reservation till for 5 pm when the restaurant opens. Since several parties have 5 pm reservations there can be a line to be seated which we experienced. Not too bad, but also not great. We were there on a Thursday night when the restaurant also provides food for some Luau attendees. So about 70% of the tables were reserved for those people which limits the availability for other guests. Also between 5:30 and 6:15 there was music for the Luau people. For our next visit we will avoid the Thursday night.
