Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Santa Rosa

The menu is creative and inviting. The ambience is very nice albeit a bit loud. Service was good given how busy it was. You have to like smoky tasting meat. It was a bit too smokey for us but a nice place to go while in Santa Rosa.

The food is fantastic, and the coffee is phenomenal! Everyone who works there is friendly and very welcoming. Great decor and relaxing vibe. I'm a bit of a coffee snob; most coffee companies buy cheap beans and over roast them to cover up that fact or simply don't know how to properly roast coffee and what you end up with is something you'd expect to get from Starbucks. Happily, that is not what you get here. The coffee is smooth, not bitter, with rich hints of caramel and a smooth nutty finish. What a cup of coffee! And the food? Don't get me started! You literally can't go wrong with any of the culinary offerings! We were so impressed with this little restaurant that we ate there two days in a row. This place is a real gem, so make a reservation to insure you get to enjoy this place.

Love this affordable Thai restaurant. Great food, excellent service, affordable. Oysters were awesome, Pot Stickers were super good, wife had the lemongrass soup and then Pad Thai. Corkage “ cheap” drinks great, Server PK was great. Will return

Party of four celebrated my wife's birthday with a first-time visit to Augie's. Shared some of the best oysters ever tasted. We can highly recommend the mushroom soup, beef bourginon, frog legs, duck confit and the muscles with fries among the menu choices. Crepes Suzette was an excellent finishing touch.

Friday and Saturdays are great as have a prime rib special. Always a friendly loud crowd, some refer to Ricardo’s as Santa Rosa’s “Cheers”. Salads and soups are excellent. Happy hour drink prices reasonable.
