Best Vegan Restaurants in Tempe

Food was delicious. We started with the cucumber Sunomono and chicken lettuce wraps. Both were delicious and fresh tasting. We then had 3 rolls - one was the Crunchy LA, was a dressed up California roll. My daughter is just starting to branch out in roll selection, so I always order one “safe” one for her. It was quite tasty. Second was the Salmon skin roll. It was good, but of our 3 rolls, was not the favorite. Our favorite was the Negi (?) Yellowtail. It was yellowtail with crispy garlic and scallions. So simple, but so good. Incredibly fresh and bright tasting. We both loved it. We will definitely be back! (My 4 Star on ambiance was only due to the music volume. I could barely hear the server when she spoke. The space and decor are fabulous, but maybe turn the music down just a notch.)

I brought company here before we watched Wicked at ASU Gammage. I looked the menu up before we arrived and knew there were a couple things I wanted to try. When we arrived we noticed there were also some specials "themed" after the musical and got excited. I had the Thai peanut noodle salad and added steak. Very much enjoyed it, but a little warning if you don't like spicy don't get this. My daughter had the miso salmon, also atop a noodle salad. She was able to eat the salmon and said it was very good, but the noodles were too spicy for her. My friend had the sweet fuji apple salad with chicken and did say it was very good (she finished the entire plate so I don't think she was lying). I also added the crispy brussels and they were very good. I would have liked to try the steak special, but I could not stomach getting a $60 steak dinner I knew I could not finish or take home since we had the show to attend after. Also, would have liked to try the buttercake for dessert....

It was a lovely evening before heading the theatre. Service was wonderful and the view was spectacular.

Loved the Gorgonzola and roasted garlic appetizer and also the Boar Shank!

Menu needs an update, add more small plates, shareable options. Specials for show goers!
