We had the beautiful corner banquet last night for my husband's birthday, it is truly the best seat in the house. The jazz band above on the balcony was fabulous. There were four of us and I was excited to introduce them to this lovely spot. The service is perfect and so welcoming. The steaks are delicious and the little potato crispy "balls" are yummy. Extensive wine list-note that the first part of the wine book has the "Collection", the last two pages have wines by the glass, and just before the last two pages are the "normal" bottles of wine! The sommelier was happy to explain this to me as I searched for a favorite Rhone wine. This is a "special occasion" spot, but you could visit and experience the fun just by being in the lively bar and lounge area.

Outstanding dining experience! The origin of the cuisine made it even more delightful to try. The staff and service were outstanding. I think I tried half the menu, even things upon reading that I wasn’t sure that I would enjoy. I would go back 1000 times.

We have been a few times to Auden and have loved it every time. The service is warm and attentive, the food is consistently delicious and the ambiance is classy and cozy. I also love that the chef changes up the menu with the seasons (while keeping the fan favorites on) and the way he is able to meld tastes and flavors together is perfection. The dessert menu is always on point and their wine selection is quite expansive. This truly is a great place for either a casual get together or an intimate evening. It is no wonder this place is rated as one of the top restaurants to visit in Houston.
