Can always depend on a great meal and service at Il Fornaio - San Jose!

I had heard about The Club on Post and had been wanting to make a reservation, so I took my husband for dinner on his 50th birthday. So glad we were able to visit this restaurant! The setting was calm and intimate. Our server was great and upfront about items they were out of and short on, plus had great feedback in helping us with what to choose from their beautiful menu. The food was fantastic! My husband had the filet, while I opted for the short ribs. We even had an opportunity to chat with the owner. Can’t wait to visit again, and they’re open for brunch on weekends. Don’t sleep on this one. Make a reservation at this hidden gem; you won’t regret it!

Excellent, attentive service. Our quiet, corner table was roomy and conducive to conversation. The staff was friendly. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our dinner at Oak Cochina very much, a group of four of us had the guacamole and chips, pitcher of margaritas, and entrees, including chicken enchiladas. the stuffed chili rellenos, and tacos plate. The restaurant has a happening, festive, upbeat atmosphere which contributed to the good time, though was noisy, which could make conversation a bit challenging. It was a busy, night and service was a bit slow. My only real criticisms were that the menu is somewhat limited, and some items I thought were expensive (House made chips and guacamole $14.95., though admittedly, no one forced us to order this). The food was quite good, the service was friendly and professional, the margaritas were great, had a good time was held by all!
