Best Historic Restaurants in Santa Ana

Dinner and drinks were fantastic! I got the “Slim Thicc” to drink which was a gin drink with aperol, peach, and elderflower! It was so yummy. For my dinner I got the duck confit and it hit the spot! The flavors were well balanced and the duck was cooked to perfection. My friend got the burger and it was also fantastic, great flavor profile and the pickled red onions complimented the burger well. Overall the ambiance was great, the place was lively, and had great music! Service was prompt and enjoyable.

Down in LA for a short work trip. Searched for places with reservations that could accommodate just 3 people within a short period of time. Came across this restaurant and I 100% judged a book by its cover. The food photos looked absolutely amazing (not even knowing what some of them were). Our waitress Megan was the best, and gave us great recommendations. Had the nachos and added short ribs...OMG The happy hour short rib grilled cheese was delicious (add the fried pickles to the grilled cheese ) The Brussels Sprouts and the Sweet Papas Braves hit the spot too! I honestly don't know if they have anything bad on the menu. The restaurant ambiance was perfect, music not too loud and the whiskey decor and neon lights just add to it all. Great location in a cute downtown area, will definitely return. Whiskey

We had such an amazing time! Our Server Josue was incredibly attentive. The food was beyond amazing! We had the Mole Enchiladas, Churros, and pancakes for the kids during brunch. Mariachi was the best! Also the Tropical Halibut Ceviche was some of the best we ever had! Matt the owner came by and was extremely gracious! We will be back!

Excellent service , from greeted at the door to attention at the table Food was good , a nice variety , due to the dark ambiance was not able to see the presentation well, first bites , nice , not very inviting , taste good The lamb ragu w cavatelli, had a good taste Sorbet a great palate cleanser I chose the Black cod that got lost in the mushroom sauce , the lobster glaze really did not give a taste as the brown sauce took over the taste Last the Dark chocolate tart , pastry very dry would have needed a small whipped cream on the side As a birthday treat the chocolate mousse wax the delicious The staff really shined , the somalier very good presentation oc wines

Wonderful experience and unique menu. The service is great! Hoping for more of these offerings.
