Best Historic Restaurants in Springfield

We had an anniversary dinner that was absolutely delightful. Our waiter, Dennis, could not have been more professional or more enjoyable as a guide for the experience. The food was great, and the people were tip top. The establishment went out of its way to make our anniversary special, even to the printing of special menus congratulating us. We really can’t say enough good things about Hermitage.

We just had a wonderful waiter, the food was excellent, and we were seated in our favorite room!

We were seated upstairs in the back with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the tacos were beautifully prepared. Couldn’t ask for a nicer lunch.

Service was great. Friendly, professional server and host. The food and drinks were wonderful but the dessert was not good at all. The cake was very dry and stale. Flavorless. Everything else was amazing though. We enjoyed ourselves, thank you!

We enjoyed being immersed in history while dining here. The food was delicious and the menu offered a nice variety. The seafood chowder and the fried oysters were excellent!
