Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free!     First time, and will not be our last! From entering the restaurant and having our coats taken, to attentive wait staff ensuring our eating area was well kept. Truly felt we were dining with royalty. The Ceasar salad was so exquisite and flavorful, followed by the swordfish entree and lava cake finish. The experience was worth the value.

    Great place! Food is so yummy. Ordered the chip and dip for appetizers. Guac so fresh! Ordered thr chicken carnita tacos, the chickrn tenders and the umma burger. Everything was delicious

    All the meals were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our party of four. Larger pizza was very generous; took home half for another meal. Wine prices are quite reasonable for the DC area. Service very good, despite the Brunch crowd. Only real issue was the noise level: it was very busy, though, and people might have been really enjoying their bottomless (or very inexpensive) cocktail/beverage choices. One of our party uses a hearing aid, and the ambient volume made conversation with him nearly impossible. Not the fault of the restaurant, just basic acoustics and energetic patrons.
