Best Healthy Restaurants in Keauhou

Merriman’s consistently ranks among our favorite restaurants. The food and service are superb with great menu options for us GF folks. The wine and drink options are very good as well. Kathryn our server was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and could not do enough to please us. Great choice if you are visiting the Big Island!

Parking a little rough, only a dozen spots behind the place. Had to luckily run into a free paid lot about a block away behind the establishment after dropping off the party - on the next street. Asked for a booth on OpenTable but when arrived, got placed in a back area booth. Two booths then opened up right after seating, and I politely asked, but refused to move us. Food was pretty good.

Beautiful and amazing sunset view, while enjoying our delicious fish, cocktails and wine. A bit on the pricy side, but worth it.

Really appreciated this dinner tonight! Great food and great service. Kekoa was very attentive!

Our meal was Sensational for our date night!! Only one minor problem, our dessert had bananas in it and they were as hard as brick bats. When I told our waiter the kitchen denied it and that was a big laugh to the staff. Please make sure the chef is using ripe bananas… these desserts are not cheep.
