- JJayVIPToronto / Ontario •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went for anniversary. Had blue fin tuna. Delicious made with a layer of guacamole. But we enjoy it with a chip. A few small chips in it. We added toasted butter bun. I enjoyed. Partner was still looking for a chip to dip. We also had fried calamari. Very nicely made. Mains, braided ribs. Delicious! Also chicken supreme. For me a bit dry. More sauce would have made it. Also bit tough. Dessert-banana pie and strawberry tiramisu. Definately a must try dessert!More infoMademoiselle Raw Bar + GrillPrice: Moderate• Seafood• King West•4.4

From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail is evident—impeccable service, a beautifully curated ambiance, and a menu that seamlessly blends innovation with classic technique. Each dish in the tasting menu is a work of art, showcasing seasonal ingredients with exquisite flavors and textures. The courses flow effortlessly, with highlights ranging from delicate seafood preparations to perfectly executed meats and creative vegetable-forward dishes. Every bite is balanced, refined, and deeply satisfying. Service at Alo is nothing short of exceptional. The waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience. Their ability to anticipate needs and personalize the evening makes the meal even more special. The ambiance is intimate and elegant, with a warm, modern design that makes you feel at ease while still maintaining an air of sophistication. - DDanielSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe finally tried Alo after hearing much great things. We sat at “The Bar at Alo” for a St-Valentines fixed menu. The Service was outstanding from all staff and the food / cocktails were indeed deserving of their Michelin Star. Ambiance and decor in the bar area was a bit dark for our taste. I found the prices to be a bit steep, but not outside the norm at this level. The wine pairing was interesting and will get two of their featured bottles. However, I wonder why they chose to feature a US bottle in their pairing at this particular time. Overall great experience, will likely try their main dining area in the near future.More infoThe Bar at Alo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• International• Entertainment District•4.8

Third - the food was not only beautifully presented, it was all perfectly prepared and very, very good, with many interesting and appealing options on the menu. My best meal out in Toronto in quite a while.More infoLeePrice: Expensive• Asian• King West•4.7
- JjohnToronto / Ontario •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe decided to use Winterlicious to try out Aera. First of all the view is amongst the best in North America , overlooking the city with the CN tower and lakes in full view. Truly breathtaking. Our server was highly attentive. We both started with the Beet and Goats Cheese salad which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. My wife had the Salmon Pone Bowl with Edamame, Avocado, Quinoa flavoured with ginger and a delicious sauce. I had the Pork Loin Schnitzel with some of the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. The star of the meal however was the Sticky Toffee Pudding which came with praline encrusted ice cream, it scored 20 out of 10. From this first experience we have decided to celebrate our anniversary this year with dinner and some nice wine at Aera and to enjoy the full menu experience. I have had the luck through my career to have eaten at many of the worlds finest restaurants, I do not exaggerate when I say I would place Aera in my top 10 for ambience and quality. A real experienceMore infoAeraPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• King West•4.4
