Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Danforth / Greek Town

Daphne is a restaurant truly worthy of 5 stars! I hosted my friends here for a galentines day brunch and we were truly impressed. The food was PHENOMENAL with each dish plated beautifully and rich with flavour. The staff was courteous, attentive, and friendly. Our server Armand aimed to please and succeeded in taking such great care of our table! The restaurant is SO LOVELY! The luxurious interior design adds to the experience. The manager Amanda also checks in on the tables and is so helpful with any special requests. I would highly recommend Daphne to anyone who loves delicious food, A+ service, and great vibes.

We have eaten at a few different Kegs around Ontario. None can compare to this experience! Not only was the food great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable but the ambience and all over experience and history of this historical building make it EXCELLENT. There is free parking for those that eat here...not just in front but all around the building as well. You have to attend here at least once to experience this place. We will return for sure!

We decided to use Winterlicious to try out Aera. First of all the view is amongst the best in North America , overlooking the city with the CN tower and lakes in full view. Truly breathtaking. Our server was highly attentive. We both started with the Beet and Goats Cheese salad which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. My wife had the Salmon Pone Bowl with Edamame, Avocado, Quinoa flavoured with ginger and a delicious sauce. I had the Pork Loin Schnitzel with some of the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. The star of the meal however was the Sticky Toffee Pudding which came with praline encrusted ice cream, it scored 20 out of 10. From this first experience we have decided to celebrate our anniversary this year with dinner and some nice wine at Aera and to enjoy the full menu experience. I have had the luck through my career to have eaten at many of the worlds finest restaurants, I do not exaggerate when I say I would place Aera in my top 10 for ambience and quality. A real experience

The service was great. The food was delicious. We ordered the chicken, braised in red wine with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The menu didn’t say that it was a quarter chicken leg. Would have preferred boneless. The restaurant was crowded but not with people. The seating was very crowded and it was very difficult to have a decent conversation. The people near us were very loud and we were so close that we could smell the alcohol on their breath. This was even before they had ordered their appetizers and dinner and drinks.

Everything here was fantastic, including the location. One of my favourite places on the Danforth
