- MMary KayeSeattle / Eastern Washington •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI had asked not to be outside in heated room and was told we would have a booth. We got there early and saw people coming and going. I noticed that it was already 6 minutes pass our reservation time. The two three front house employees looked concern to find a table. It seems they gave away our booth & ended up putting us in the outdoor room with heaters. One third of the heaters were on low including both of the ones on either side of our table. I asked for the heater to be turned up. The server turned one up and suggested I change places with one of my guests since it was warmer where he was sitting. I guess I was in the drafty area. I was not going to inconvenience a guest. I already had a cold and kept my coat on. Every diner in that room had their coats on except for the couples sitting at the fireplace tables. That should have been a clue to the staff to turn up ALL of the heaters on full blast. I tipped more than the required 20% for my party of six because the server was amazing even the everything was late.More infoEpulo BistroPrice: Expensive• Northwest• Edmonds•4.7

- EEdVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •52 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had our Valentine's Dinner here on the 13'th as we had a concert in town. The place was packed but we were seated right away by the Host, JD. Our server, Phyllis, was super ! She explained the special VDay Menu and coached us on how much to order. The small green salad was perfectly sharable before our entrees. My wife had the Shrimp and Squash Risotto. It was excellent ! I went with the Seafood Pot on this cold, snowy night. Boy did hit the spot. The bowl was filled with shrimp, mussels, clams, and vegetables in a tasty seafood broth. HOME RUN !!! Also, I can't say enough about their homemade bread. YUM ! We also splurged on their special homemade pastry desert. It complimented our house made cappuccinos to finish a delightful meal. Kudos to the Chef and whole Staff ! We will be going back, and soon ! Cheers !More infoSalt & IronPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Edmonds•4.7
- DDonnaSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.7
