Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Manhattan Beach

Good barbecue. Good sauces. Decent sides. I’ve cold beer.

This is such a gem! Our little village needed this restaurant. This was our 2nd visit and Zoku is consistently delicious, attention to detail, and friendly/excellent service. We enjoy the Hatate Carpaccio, Large Ebi app, Karaage (both), Chicken wings, Chicken with mustard/garlic, and Japanese A5 wagyu (special). The chicken soup is comforting and delicious. We pair the food with a perfectly poured Sapporo and a bottle of Kubota sake. Looking forward to returning soon!

Felt rushed. Food was good… We were offered 2 tables to chose from even though the place was not full. Asked to to sit on the benches by the fire but we were told that there was a reservation for 14 people at 6:30pm (only a couple sat there until we left around 7:15pm). We sat on one of the tables they offered us and at around 7pm they told us that they needed the table for another reservation (We were still drinking our wine).

Wonderful experience on the water. We came for brunch but a live band came around 3pm. We had pancakes, the croissant and the 3 little pigs. Everything was tasty. Waiter was kind and efficient. We will be back!

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this place. We needed this place in the Riviera. In the Month of October they are celebrating their one year anniversary, so there are a lot of fun creative specials going on the entire month. Perfect chance to find and taste all their delicious high-grade food. The service is top-notch and the ambience perfection! I love that this is a local family that owns it. The community is really starting to rally around this gem discovering the phenomenal food and great service!
