Best Gluten Free Restaurants in SOMA

This is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been going here for decades. Most of us have waited all year for our reservations. All I ask is DO NOT rush us through our meal. When I tell you that I would like to finish my martini before we order, I am not joking. And having to tell you multiple times to just let us enjoy our drinks is super frustrating. Also, don’t be rude. This will affect your tip. Just leave us alone and we will let YOU know when we are ready. Literally, just back off.

Service was welcoming, staff was friendly. The food was fine, not great, and portions were small for the price of each entree. Not sure if I’d go back again.

Consistently awesome over the years. Many restos start out great and then wane. Not so with Mathilde, always creative, authentic and delicious, with superb service!

My and I wife had the tasting menu. This is a 7 course sampler of dishes on the main menu. The food is simply outstanding. In addition to tasting great, the presentation on the plates was beautiful. I loved how this restaurant puts a modern twist on more traditional Turkish food. A couple of other notes- the service was spectacular. As good as any high end restaurant we have eaten at. And the restaurant has an excellent wine list, with many terrific, but reasonably priced wines. We can’t wait to go back!
