We went for brunch and the food variety was great. The 5 of us all ordered something different and all enjoyed our meals-don’t pass up the brown bread, too. We had Guinness. Grateful for the dessert but It would have been nice to sing a little Happy Birthday or make it a little special for her since it was a milestone birthday. When I asked about things on the menu the server seemed bothered that I asked...we never been here so I was asking what he suggests. Maybe he had something on his mind but they AUTOMATICALLY ADD 18% gratuity to your bill so I assume that's why he really didn't care. I tipped in addition to that added gratuity but the service on this 1st experience was not warm or welcoming. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing that I would give 5 stars the drinks during happy hour were also very tasty we will be back...and hopefully we will experience better service. Yes, it’s Winnetka, so there’s that, but I cook vegan every day and know that the food doesn’t cost nearly that much. The markup here is exceptional.
