- PPeterLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent on a lunch date with my wife and this was our first time at The Pembroke. The ambiance was fantastic. The service was second to none! We received customer service during our lunch that barely exists these days. They treated us as long time valued customers. The food, while on the expensive side, was phenomenal. We will be back again.More infoThe PembrokePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.6
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSometimes the greatest luxury is when something simple is done absolutely flawlessly. Our anniversary dinner at Black Salt fits that description. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant is open to individual preferences and tweaks. The food was extremely fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Portions were not huge, but satisfying, and beautifully plated. We had oysters, steamed clams, red snapper and fried Ipswich (belly) clams. The oysters were fresh and they had about eight varieties to choose from. The clams were served in a nice garlicky tomatoey broth. The fish was perfectly grilled and lightly seasoned to bring out the flavor. The sides were delicious in themselves. Every vegetable in a medley of mixed vegetables tasted exactly like that vegetable should taste. I suspect they had been cooked and seasoned separately and then joined together at plating. A purée of turnips and parsnips was light and tasty with a nice parsnippy sweetness. A simple salad was fresh and perfectly dressed with a light house vinaigrette. A cranberry orange flan served with a fresh fruit salad completed the meal. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8

- AAdrienneVIPWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024We had a lovely dinner, but upstairs was very loud. The combo of crowd voices and loud music made it hard to have a conversation. Drinks were great and fries very tasty. Really enjoyed the Brussell sprouts! Service was good and server very friendly, but felt like she was really in the weeds and therefore unable to pay as much attention to us as she would have liked. But others stepped in to help when she was unable to, so your team was working well together.More infoBar PilarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Logan Circle•4
- SSarahWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Korean fried chicken and perogie appetizers were delicious. Everyone tried something different for entrees and we all enjoyed our meals and exclaimed how good everyone else’s dishes looked. The crème brûlée apple cheesecake was great and the red wine I had was a heavy pour. Not crowded on a Thursday night and our server was really nice. One of the nicest, chillest meals I’ve had in a while. Bravo!More infoFred & StillaPrice: Moderate• International• Dupont Circle•3.8
