Buon Gusto means ‘good taste’ in Italian. We strive to bring you the ‘good taste’ of Italy in all aspects of our restaurant. Located in the historic Victoria Hotel building in St. George’s Square in Downtown Guelph, Buon Gusto is warm and casual with exposed stone walls and a contemporary interior design. Our wood-burning oven, made in Reggello, Tuscany is ‘il cuore’ (the heart) of Buon Gusto. We import molino caputo tipo 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy, to make our pizzas in the traditional Neapolitan thin-crust style, hearth-baking them at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for just 90 seconds. Our menu also features pastas made from family recipes and small-plates of antipasti, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

The word ‘Miijidaa’ is from the Ojibway language that loosely translates to “let’s eat”.     Bardo consistency delivers A+ marks in every category. Sitting at the bar we’ve come to know our server/bartender and will stick to her for our guest experiences everytime. For years they have maintained a amazing, clean, friendly atmosphere with food that is ever-so satisfying, and does not leave you feeling greasy, queasy, or overall gross like a lot of franchise resto’s do. A MUST try in Guelph. Patio is also amazing. And DO NOT forget some take home ice cream. Worth its value.
