- JJosephvipToronto / Ontario •103 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoNice place to be on a cold rainy November evening! Service is knowledgeable and friendly. Food was good with high marks to the fried eggplant and crispy shrimp. The harissa half roast chicken was a generous portion, moist but a tad over seasoned with the dry rub which we found gritty and a tad too hot! Ambiance is warm and welcoming. Will be back. Great place for a pre-theatre meal.More infoByblos DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District•4.7
- SSabahToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was perfect - they could do a bit of work on the entrance when you first walk in...it looks a bit dingy, industrial with an old looking elevator going up but as the doors open you are pleasantly surprised. They didn't have room at the bar and seated us against the window - which was OK too. Once we got to the main dining table, it was so nice! A very quaint comfortable and cozy environment. It was our engagement anniversary and there was a personalized note left for us at the table congratulating us, it was such a sweet gesture <3 Each food item was like a party in my mouth! With amazing fresh rich taste of all different types of flavours! We loved everything we ate. It was so beautifully presented as well, there was some items you just wanted to look at not and eat! The service was beautiful, it just flowed so smoothly, with each server explaining properly what was in each course. I think we had like 11 courses....they just kept coming! We loved every moment of it. This restaurant truly deserves a 2 Michelin rating. Looking forward to coming back :)More infoAlo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• International• Entertainment District•4.9
- JJohnLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe antipasti we had was an off-menu carciofi alla romana, with a slightly-too-subtle negroni, and a very proud luxardo special. Fantastic pastas, we had the agnolotti al funghi and it was truly sublime—velvet texture and big flavour. The secondi was grilled branzino, impeccably prepared and served with a perfect salmoriglio. Service was fantastic, paced well, with solid recommendations from our server. Well above average, overall.More infoEnoteca SocialePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Little Italy / College St.•4.6
