Bowden Cellars (located in Plant 4's sister venue, Plant 3) is the love-child of passionate South Australian- produce supporters, Josh and Dale. This bar/bottle shop/restaurant is unique in its dedication to providing great small-batch, South Australian wine, spirits and craft beers/ciders.Their love for small-batch, South Australian wine, spirits and beers first made its debut as the Adelaide Wine Markets held at The Market Shed on Holland (find our next event details below). After successful years of the party-filled Wine Markets, the pair decided that it was time to open a permanent spot that celebrated fantastic small South Australian producers. The opportunity to join the Plant 4/Plant 3 family couldn't have come at a more perfect time, and Bowden Cellars came to life!

Excellent feed me option. Really enjoyed that cream of corn dish. Service was at times slow but once underway was paced well with dishes arriving and was always very friendly and knowledgeable on the food and wine. Wine list extraordinary. Very impressive over all. Will definitely return.

The degustation menu was simply outstanding. Every dish was exceptional. My wife and I cannot recall having enjoyed a meal so much and we have been fortunate to have eaten in some wonderful restaurants. A trip to Adelaide should include a meal at Roma!

We had the 7 course degustation with paired local wines. What and amazing experience. The best Adelaide has to offer, and nationwide. The staff were fantastic genuine authentic people who made us feel special and added a surprisingly lovely dimension to the food and wine experience. We will remember this night for a long long time. Thank you, Kieren, Dorota and Julia

A really nice balance between outstanding quality and a comfortable, welcoming environment. We were greeted the second we walked into the venue, and it felt like being welcomed into someone's cozy home. The team — who had clearly had enough experience to fun like clockwork — made sure we were attended to for our entire booking. The food was some of the best I'd ever had, accomodating to even my vegan dietary requirements and some picky eaters on my table. Everyone got to enjoy at least one thing, and those things were flavourful in ways we hadn't experienced before. The drinks were equally outstanding, having really great alcoholic and non alcoholic options that weren't just soft drinks. We had a few non alcoholic gins and they were prepared with the same level of care that any of the regular gins would have received. Arguably one of the best experiences for dining and drinks in Adelaide. The venue and its service standards are timeless, effortless and consistently satisfying. Go to Udaberri when you want to feel like you're being welcomed into a good friend's home — they make it very clear that you're always welcome back.
