Best Contemporary German Restaurants in Siegburg

We were at Stappen as 6 adults. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the poor service. During our dinner, maybe 5 or 6 different waiters/waitresses serviced us, when we tried to reach them with eye contact or simply by calling them. They forgot to bring some of the things we asked for, like mustard, water and finally the desserts that we ordered. So we had to remind them twice. Actually, if that was the only problem I would not write a review. Unfortunately, one of the waitresses, was rude to our friend, when our friend asked for the side dish of schnitzel. My friend was very polite but shocked with the answer of the waitress. The waitress replied making mimics and gestures: ''I have only two hands...'' We felt that there was no manager or anybody in charge that spesific night since that waitress was drinking her own cocktail and chatting with the other waiters and waitresses by the end of our dinner.

Superb food, it was not the best day of the service person but the whole experience was lovely

This is a restaurant where you as a guest can choose either a 3 course or even 5 course menu or you can select by yourself between meat, fish or vegetarian food. For me as a vegetarian it's often a problem to find a perfect meal because even a soup has fish in it. But I am expecting that it changes from time to time. Enjoy that place and the available food like I did it this time.

Great location, good food, we had a real nice brunch

The food was absolutely delightful- we had a wonderful evening- we will definitely come back!!
