Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in University City

My husband and I have come here for so long, and wanted to have one last brunch here before they shut their doors. We have to say the staff, between front and back, are just rockstars at what they do and provide. The food is always top notch, the cocktails perfect, and the service warm and welcoming. Truly a delight any time we can spend some time with our 2 dachshunds and enjoy the outside space here. We hope you and team have much successes going forward and we hope for the next iteration will be here soon. Happy New Year Hawthorne's!

Food was amazing! I had the salmon Alfredo. The sauce was well seasoned and a bit complex. It was the best I have had in a long time. restaurant was larger than expected but spaced out so we didn't feel on top of other diners. The server was kind, attentive but not intrusive.

Wonderful waitress and the live jazz music was a great touch!

We have been many times. Food is excellent, service is great, atmosphere is comfortable. The ONLY issue I have with this location is that the cooking exhaust system does not seem to be working fully. The system isn’t running with full negative pressure and our clothes and hair smell like the restaurant when we leave. It should be rebalanced to fix the problem. Please! Thank you!

I truly enjoyed myself. My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday and so we did. I’m not a sushi person but I tried it and it was great. The service was excellent.
