- PPamelaChicago / Illinois •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food ad service was excellent! I had forgotten about Wildfire as a restaurant of choice when considering a night out. We both had the Parmesan encrusted cod. Suburb! Green beans a red skin mash potatoes. It’s getting close to Thanksgiving so looking forward to a meal not turkey or chicken. Our meals were so good we couldn’t believe it at first. It’s was as if it were my mom’s home cooking. Supurb and a great comfort food at the same time. We will definitely be back soon. Can’t wait!More infoWildfire - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• American• Glenview•4.7
- DDavid & JanetvipChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAboyer (previously Restaurant Michael) has been one of our favorite north shore spots to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. My husband and I have been following Chef Michael all around the Chicago area for decades now, and although the amazing food has been the key reason, we have always been impressed by his professionally trained staff, who are friendly, knowledgeable and pay attention to details. On this visit, we were celebrating my birthday (2 months late) since we cancelled the first reservation when Covid hit us, and the aftereffects stayed around far too long. The evening here was well worth the wait! After stopping at the bar for a quick hello to Sergio and a Champagne (for me) and a Chardonnay we settled in to the cozy banquette for dinner. We ordered our standard starter, the delectable Gougères, a mainstay that we hope never goes away. I switched to a rich Aviary Napa Cabernet for the rest of the dinner. We were delighted to have Sergio Junior as our server! He obviously enjoys his job and is a real ambassador for the restaurant. We took his recommendations for our entrees, and both were fantastic! I never order pork, and rarely make it at home, except for a roast. The Peppercorn Crusted Berkshire Pork Rib Chop with Cognac Mushroom Sauce was by far the best pork I have ever had. Happy Birthday to me. My husband’s decadently delicious Aboyer Burger was an unexpected item for him to order here, except for how much he loved it. Thank you from both of us, SJ!!! Last night was well worth waiting for. ♥️♥️More infoAboyerPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Winnetka•4.7

- SSteveChicago / Illinois •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoThe overall atmosphere at PF Changs was great, once we were seated. And the food and service at the table were outstanding. The one downside was the initial atmosphere around checking in and getting seated. It was very crowded and chaotic, and we were 20 minutes late in being shown to our reserved table, and it took asking the main service coordinator about when our table would be ready. If they can get the initial check-in process figured out, PF Changs is a great experience.More infoP.F. Chang's - NorthbrookPrice: Moderate• Chinese• Northbrook•4
- TtomChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024i am questioning the ten dollar cover fee for the bubbles. since last year it was $5.00.With a large group it's doable. but a smaller group i would probably go to Harms on Lake.. i have been going to the Domes since the beginning and over time they have gotten more elaborate and i can see that it tales upkeep , heaters, blankets and maintenance. I think restaurants who use the domes have to realize it takes a certain customer to want to eat outside with heaters.and it's a bonus for Harms Hackneys as that has opened up a whole extra seating almost a whole another restaurant in the winter months. I hope going forward that you do not keep increasing the dome"cover" charges as the present $10.00 is about at my limit..and then would switch either to Hackneys on Lake or eat inside. ..Also i did not see this charge listed on OPEN TABLE when i made the reservation .perhaps it was there but again, i did not see it and was expecting the $5.00 charge from last year..thanks.tjMore infoThe Geodesic Domes at Hackney's on HarmsPrice: Moderate• American• Skokie•4.8
