Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Indian Rocks Beach

Everything was perfect for our lunch at The Columbia but the weather—we asked for outdoor seating and a cold wind started just as our food arrived. But the sangria made at the table with fresh fruit and wine was excellent, as was all of the food. Great staff, from the hostess to the wait staff to the parking valet. We’ve now been to all the Columbia restaurants and they do it right! Love their food!

A Night to Remember at Ocean Prime Tampa Last night, Danielle and I had an unforgettable experience at Ocean Prime Tampa, and I can confidently say that this is what dining should be. We opted to sit at the bar, which turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the energy in the room was electric yet sophisticated, filled with both engaging guests and an incredibly attentive staff who made us feel like we were part of something special. We started with the truffle popcorn—simple yet indulgent, the perfect opening bite. What followed was a salad so fresh and vibrant it was out of this world—each bite bursting with flavor and precision. Then came the star of the night—the steak. Perfectly cooked and paired with three incredible sides, it was an experience in itself. The portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to take home, but every bite made it hard to stop eating. What elevated this experience beyond just great food was the exceptional service. The bartenders and servers weren’t just attentive; they were engaged, charismatic, and passionate about what they do. They brought the Cameron Mitchell experience to life, making sure every guest felt valued and immersed in the Ocean Prime atmosphere. If you haven’t been to an Ocean Prime, you haven’t been to a restaurant that truly cares. From the ambiance to the hospitality to the flawless execution of every dish, it’s an experience worth savoring. We’ll absolutely be back!

Guppy's has always been a go-to favorite of ours - and if possible, it has gotten even better. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and treated warmly but professionally - seated at our requested porch table on Valentine's Day, we knew the place would be busy, but service and quality was not impacted one bit. Great drinks, unfortunately still a poor wine list and prices that seem to have not been raised in memory - Guppy's has become a value dining spot - Angels on Horseback (oysters sweet and fresh - bacon just right - sauce perfect) - shrimp and grits with perfectly cooked shrimp and just enough heat to be interesting as the grits were creamy and tender - the black grouper was grilled again, perfectly - with a slice of key lime pie by a bay area baker that was perfection - a decaf espresso and a fine evening of dining, service and ambiance topped a great Valentine's Day. A shout out to David S for excellent, attentive service throughout the evening - a helpful suggestion to management - relieve the servers of some of the busing dishes to allow more customer interaction - you need another bus boy.

We had a wonderful experience at your restaurant. Our server Jacob was fantastic, kind and very knowledgeable. Everyone worked very hard and appeared to enjoy their jobs. Excellent Food and service. It was our first time dining at Valentino Ristorante Italiano but it will certainly not be our last time. We were warmly greeted the moment we stepped inside the understated yet elegant interior. We immediately knew this was not going to be a “typical” Italian dining experience. Once seated, the staff were abundant, attentive, accommodating and genuinely friendly. In fact, after expressing our delight over the vongole appetizer (clams), our server brought the chef, Ciro Mancini, to our table so we could share our thoughts and compliments with him directly. With so many delicious options on the menu, we were challenged to make a selection. We opted for the Fettucine Bolognese to enjoy as an appetizer (along with the clams) and felt satisfied we had made an excellent choice. The fresh pasta was al dente and the sauce was complex and rich enhancing,but not overpowering, the wagyu beef. We followed up with Zuppa Di Pesce, served in a bowl loaded with a fresh assortment of seafood. Thankfully it came with crostini to absorb the delicious broth and because it was so tasty we moved on to dipping in with the bread we were served upon being seated. Our server recommended the Veal Marsala and it did not disappoint. The sauce was full bodied and the mushrooms were firm and flavorful. Perhaps the best we’ve ever had! The dessert menu was limited and if we hadn’t overindulged on the other dishes we had ordered, we might have opted to try one. Perhaps on our next visit we will better pace ourselves, if possible, so we can sample their sweet offerings. Overall, we had a wonderful meal in a tastefully elegant setting with great service.
