- BBillPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •16 reviews4.0Dined todayVery nice spot… Old Church vibe, with a bit of civil war nostalgia. We enjoyed the fried chicken and southern salad. Chicken was crispy n moist, but… $30.00 for 1/2 chicken? Some pickles and cornbread, but no sides? Salad was fresh and flavorful. Our server was very distracted, and likely wished we had gone somewhere else? Don’t think we would return. Too many other spots for great food and service in this lovely city!! YMMVMore infoChurch and Union - CharlestonPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.5

- FFrederickvipVirginia •113 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis is a terrific restaurant. The menu is quite basic, but everything is prepared expertly, and the staff is both welcoming and professional. Whenever we're in Charleston we never miss a visit. My faves are the local Low-Country seafood items and the filet. Again, a basic menu but all the bases are well covered. Oh... and that coconut cake. "Extraordinary" doesn't do it justice.More infoPeninsula GrillPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.7
