We were very warmly welcomed. We were comfortable, the service was first class, the food delicious, the waiter and everyone were professional and naturally allowed us to chat and to enjoy every moment at The Ivy, Winchester! Thank you, Susan.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends at the Ivy, Brighton on Tuesday for my birthday. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the service was fantastic, gorgeous ambience and delicious food. We had the 2 course Heritage meal which was such good value, and had a glass of complementary English sparkling wine each and a dessert with candle as it was my birthday! We went to 36 on the Quay for our wedding anniversary. We received a small glass of complimentary champagne on arrival and some delicious canapés. We had the tasting menu with the wine flight. The food was outstanding and the waitress who spoke about the food and the wines that accompanied it was extremely knowledgeable. The only criticism that we have is that the website needs to be updated regarding the cost of the wine flight as we were given a cost of £58 per person on booking but the actual cost was £65 per person.

Absolutely incredible! A real local gem! I came on a busy Sunday and it was clear that this pub is thriving! I was greeted at the door and swiftly taken over to my table where I received amazing service from Jay and Jack. The roast was to die for! Extremely reasonably priced and fantastic in quality - I managed to speak with the head chef, Ben, who was fantastic and the man behind the great kitchen. If you’re in the area, this place is a must! I’ll definitely be back!

Booked a table for six on a Thursday night. Excellent greeting from our waitress. Looked after us throughout our stay. Lovely meal, good selection from the menu. Really enjoyed ourselves.
