- DDanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I had a terrific Valentine’s Day dinner and drinks. The prix-fixe menu options were excellent. The oysters, tuna tar-tar, strip steak were done perfectly. The bread pudding was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. My wife’s halibut may have been a touch overdone—but just a touch and that’s only relative to everything else being absolutely perfect. The service was prompt, courteous and pro-active. The atmosphere and large table in a cozy nook was perfect, too. Highly recommend!More infoLos Gatos ParksidePrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Los Gatos•4.7
- RRichardSan Francisco Bay Area •39 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food is creative and beautifully presented. We were there for a prix fixe dinner for Valentine’s Day. The short ribs were wonderfully lean. The dessert was creative and yummy. The portions were perfect. I think they should use more seasoning to make the food pop. There were an annoying number of upgrades, none of which we selected, which ultimately made us feel like cheapskates even though we spent $200 a plate. The cocktails were excellent and wine by the glass was a good value. Overall it was an excellent dining experience.More infoLiraPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Campbell•4.8
- MMatthewVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWith a name like The Village Pub you might envision a loud, local, low-dining experience but that couldn’t be further from the truth. With a great menu, helpful staff, and beautiful but intimate dining room, The Village Pub is a high-end dining experience without the bougie baggage of haute establishments. The cocktails are fun and balanced and the menu has some real knockouts: The plating and flavor on the Sunchoke Veloutê was very appealing. The Seared Hokkaido Scallops might have been the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. My wife loved the Crab Risotto. What made the experience special is connecting with staff, talking about dishes and recommendations, and having the kitchen send out some samples of things to try. Thanks Village Pub for a great night out!More infoThe Village PubPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Woodside•4.8

I had the lobster bisque and shrimp and crab Cobb salad. The bisque was perfectly flavored and not salty…the Cobb was a generous portion and excellent dressing. My server was so professional which made lunch even tastier! I will be coming back soon!More infoLB Steak - Santana RowPrice: Expensive• American• San Jose•4.5
- SScottSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 5, 2025I brought three out of town friends here for dinner last night. As usual, the menu was new and creative so I couldn't recommend many things except to say I've never had a bad dish or cocktail there. We asked the server for her opinon of the best items on the menu and proceeded to order 4 appetizers, 4 mains and desert to share using many of her recommendations. Each dish we had were some of the best any of us have ever tasted with a fantastic combination of presentation, textures and tastes. Thanks to Lex House not only for not only representing yourself so well, but for showing off how great a food experience Los Gatos can offer.More infoThe Lexington HousePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Los Gatos•4.5
