- MMarkBristol •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Wow. What a lovely discovery this pub is. From the moment we walked in the place felt welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a great selection of drinks, including a rather excellent Japanese Whiskey. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, tasty, decent portions without being overwhelmingly large, I had the stacked burger which was superb, my wife had Scampi, which she said was equally tasty. The staff were super friendly, actually having time to stop for a chat, rather than just serve. Such a refreshing change to find a pub that feels like it puts making you feel welcome top of its list. Definitely one to return to.More infoThe Tite InnPrice: Moderate• English• Chipping Norton•4
- ZZaynGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024Dining at The Garden Room by Marco Pierre White near Bath is an experience in culinary elegance, combining unique charm with a refined touch that’s uniquely Marco’s. Nestled in the picturesque countryside, the setting itself is a feast for the senses, with views of lush greenery that instantly set a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. From the moment you enter, the service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, every member of the staff knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. The ambiance is intimate, with tasteful decor that reflects the unique and eccentric taste of its legendary owner. The menu is classic dishes elevated to new heights. Start with the ham hocke which is beautifully plated and rich in flavor. The star of the meal is undoubtedly the fillet with chimichurri sauce. Cooked to absolute perfection, it arrives tender, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth, it’s a dish that embodies his dedication to quality and technique. Desserts don’t disappoint either. The rice pudding is a must-try—a perfect balance of sweetness and depth, with a rich sauce and velvety texture that feels both indulgent and comforting. Every course at The Garden Room feels thoughtfully crafted, blending indulgence with simplicity. It’s a celebration of local flavors and refined skill, all in a tranquil setting that invites you to savor each bite. Whether you’re a devoted Marco Pierre White fan or simply love exceptional cuisine, The Garden Room is a culinary journey worth every moment.More infoGarden Room Nr.
