The restaurant has a warm and cozy feel to it and the complimentary valet was much appreciated. They don't try to reinvent the wheel here, which I love. Lots of classic preparations with minor unique touches here and there. They do what they do very well and let the quality of the food speak for itself.More infoMill's TavernPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.8

And at a time when shrinkflation is everywhere, Red Stripe over delivers. I think this might be our new fav dinner date spot.More infoRed StripePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Providence•4.6

Beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day with roses (even the red linen napkins were folded to look like roses). We sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile. There were specials offered along with the main menu. I had the garlic lemon rotisserie chicken which had loads of flavor with every bite. My boyfriend had the homemade papardelle which was also delicious. Service and food was quick and attentive yet we didn’t feel rushed. A perfect combination for a great dining experience. We will definitely be back.More infoParkside Rotisserie & BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Providence•4.7
- JJenniferGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my 3rd time at the George. Food and service never disappoint! Both are exceptional! It’s pricier than other restaurants I typically visit, but it is so worth it! It is super noisy (all three times I have been sat at a 2-person table in the bar area; next time I will request to sit in the dining room area). If you love live music, the bar area is a great place to be, but don’t expect to have both music and conversation; also the locals sitting at the bar area definitely use their outdoor yelling voices to be heard over the music (so if you’re into ease-dropping, this could be your place! lol). In short, the bar is great if you know you’re walking in to a music and conversation room that will limit the amount of conversation you can have at your own table. If you are looking for dinner and conversation, I would not recommend NOT being sat in the bar area.More infoThe GeorgePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.6
