Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Colindale

Most enjoyable meal we have ever eaten, every dish on the core classics tasting menu was fantastic.

Outstanding food and exemplary service. There’s a fine line between attentive and intrusive, but James and his team strike the perfect balance, which makes for a very pleasurable, unhurried and welcoming dining experience. My friend had the octopus starter and monkfish main. I had the wild mushroom and garlic starter and mushroom bourguignon main. The food was superb, unpretentious, yet had amazing depth of flavour. We finished with the honey bee tart and a madeleine- both were perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and superb value for money, given the location, quality of ingredients and standard of cooking. I’m spoiled for choice working in the City and living between Highgate / Hampstead, but it was certainly worth the trip across town and I shall definitely be back.

Excellent food (Michelin star kind of food, in line with SoLa quality), presentation of the dishes is beautiful, excellent service, respecting the codes of service. Really quiet place, you can have a normal conversation without having to scream to hear each other. Only thing I'll say is you need three hours to go through the menu. A lot of wait between meals.

My favourite local restaurant. Staff lovely, excellent service, food looks and tastes great. Prices a little higher than most but worth it for the views and ambience.
