All of the staff were lovely and hospitable, meals were excellent, the beetroot hummus and camembert were incredible. - JJackieVIPDevon •17 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 1, 2025Our 5th visit to the Mitre in a couple of years although this time just the two of us. Fantastic food and friendly & helpful staff. It was busy & as the weather was nice the outside was busy too which meant there was an occasional smell of cigarette smoke which drifted inside. That said, we will be be back next time we staying in Kensington.More infoThe MitrePrice: Moderate• British• Holland Park•4.3
- PPetrLondon •11 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 23, 2025It was great to see Clifton buzzing when we came over for a late meal om Sunday - service was excellent but the food needs a bit of improvement to for example justify the most expensive item on the menu - 25 quid for a small piece of plaice that was a bit too oily but fish and chips were decent and cauliflower special was actually pretty solid so the chef clearly knows how to make good food. All in all - great to see our local pub being on the right track. And - the service was great even though you could tell that all the staff were exhausted when we came at 4pm. Thank you!More infoThe Clifton NW8Price: Moderate• British• St John's Wood•4.6
