I had the Veloute of Jerusalem artichoke with a poach hen's egg and I was in heaven, mellow artichoke taste, not too over powering and the mix with the egg was perfect. The main coarse was the fillet steak and is the best fillet steak I have ever eaten. I guess the only gripe is that on some of the main coarses you will have to order extra sides so the cost increases. I had French beans with my steak and they were lovely but the potatoes were dry and some of the food was not piping hot, it came out to us warm but I would still highly recommend it to everyone. The guys working there were all beyond helpful and attentive and wanting to ensure we had a great experience, which we did. We sat outside as it’s quieter for my father (his hearing aid picks up every background noise especially indoors in a crowded room) and again we were more than well looked after. This is one of the many reasons why my brother and I bring our father here at least once a week. It’s simply his favourite place to eat out.
