Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Elstead

I am not local, but I booked it to celebrate my birthday with my family We were running late unfortunately, they rang to see if we still wanted the reservation , which I thought was very good. There was plenty of choice , something for everyone on the menu and was reasonably priced The waiters were nice , attentive , but not overly so,nothing was too much trouble It was a Saturday night so atmosphere was quite buzzy They brought my cake I'd brought with me to the table and sung Happy Birthday, which was a nice touch and a complimentary glass of bubbles , again a lovely touch Went downstairs for a drink , but was full after food so didn't stay long , one of the staff who served me earlier wished me Happy birthday, as we left .. aww lovely I had a great evening, thank you for making my birthday feel so special x

Review: Exceptional Dining Experience at Bacchanalia From the moment we arrived at Bacchanalia, we were met with exceptional hospitality. Despite a queue at the entrance, the attentive staff promptly acknowledged our arrival and ensured we were seated within five minutes. As soon as we settled in, we were offered a choice between still or sparkling water, setting the tone for the level of attentiveness throughout the evening. Anna took the time to walk us through the menu, providing clear explanations that helped us navigate the options with ease. Nikos, who took our order, was an absolute standout. His attentiveness and thoughtful recommendations made our dining experience even more enjoyable. He ensured that each course, from starters to dessert, was delivered seamlessly, checking in regularly to make sure we were well taken care of and fully satisfied. The service at Bacchanalia truly elevated our meal, making for a memorable and enjoyable evening. The combination of warm hospitality, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable service makes it a dining experience worth returning to.

Attended the evening of Thursday 13 February 2025. Nice surroundings. Taken straight to our table. Plenty of waiters. Unfortunately our waiter, while adequate, wasn’t as attentive as we noticed others were. We waited approximately 25 minutes between the starter and the main which we thought was a little excessive. An optional side was not delivered with the main and had to be re-asked for. Food was excellent, not budget but worth the overall cost. Service charge included in the bill and was not questioned, because despite the above minor negative points, was happy with the overall experience and will eat there again.

Everything was great, the tuna, sibas, praws! Amazing dips and bread, but Greek salad was floating in so much oil. Also, my favourite umbrella from my dad was stolen from that restaurant... :( but i would come back for food again for sure!

Excellent food, very good service, and great value for money.
