Best Cocktail Bars in Butchertown

Rachel (I think) was our waiter. First, she did an outstanding job. Very professional and friendly, knew the menu very well, made excellent recommendations. I remember the original store that was here, and they have really changed the layout and well done at that. All wood so it's a little noisy but not bad. For a Monday night in Louisville KY there was a nice crowd. The layout of the menu and how they serve it is interesting so you can have a big meal or almost small plate like. We had the oysters were fantastic, expensive but very good. Tip - use the vinegar that comes with the oysters. My co-worker had small portion of the risotto with shrimp and added scallops. It looked amazing and she said it was wonderful - and she comes from NY on the water where they have fresh seafood. I had the Tuna - seared perfectly nice and red in the center and warm it was very good. Now it is expensive, and portions are what they probably should be, but the food is amazing the atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience at Swizzle for our first visit, celebrating our anniversary. Food, service and atmosphere were all fabulous - loved the view. Brittany went out of her way to make our special occasion VERY memorable and most special! Thank you!
