Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Fall River

Live music was amazing! They played everything you wanted to hear! Great food! The place is always decorated nicely.

This was the second time this week that we went to the George. First time was before a PPac show and the next was a Friday night to eat, then watch the comedy show. The first night we started with the prosciutto and Barata appetizer, delicious, then had the burger which we split. A great burger ! the second time we went we had the artichoke and shrimp appetizer in a lemon white wine butter sauce which is excellent. shrimp with the pineapple risotto, which was superb. The risotto was flavorful nutty just a great combination of flavors. Also had the Short ribs over mashed potatoes.  on Friday night we ate in the lounge. There was an excellent entertainer! then we went downstairs into the speakeasy, which is very cool. Watched the comedy show. The MC was excellent and Brad from Warwick/West Warwick was the best comedian of the night. it was worth the money we paid for an evening of entertainment.

Four of us met once a week to try Aquidneck Island restaurants. We really enjoyed the menu options from the fun cocktails to soup, oysters, entrees and dessert. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My go to choice at places is linguini with clams this was was one of the best I have ever had. The addition of bacon and the measured use of garlic made it really delicious. I will definitely return to the restaurant. Even from walking in the door the experience was positive with a friendly hostess. Thanks!

We sat in the bar area and the bar tender did a good job keeping up with the bar and tables. Food was good.
