Best Caribbean Restaurants in Bloomfield, New Jersey

My first time @ the Simpson and my overall experience was really good. I made reservations and I was concerned about a wait although I had a reservation because of the amount of people waiting for a table when I got there. Thankfully, we were seated promptly. My wife and myself had the Rum Punch and it was fantastic. We had the bourbon bbq wings as an appetizer and it was good. Service was fantastic as our waitress was very attentive to us. Overall, the food was very good. I would go back again based on my experience.

Great spot. Went there for Valentine’s Day. It was pretty packed and there was a wait time despite having a reservation but not too bad. Service was top tier. They are super attentive. Good music, vibes, hookah and awesome food and strong drinks.

Delicious food, fun vibes. They sat us at the circular table, which was perfect for catching up with friends.

Having never been and seeing this spot turn over many times through the years, we weren’t too sure. Well, wow. Exceeded our expectations for sure. We live nearby and very frequently (at least twice a week) dine at many of the spots nearby, this will 100% be added to our regular rotation! The service was outstanding (Adrian, I think?) and their suggestions were spot on. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu! Keep doing everything you’re doing, you just gained a regular customer. ❤️

I had a 4pm reservation and ended up leaving after 9pm so let’s just say we had a great time. The food, service and vibes were amazing.
