Best Steakhouses in St Johns

Went to Terra Gaucha for a late Valentine's Day meal with my wife. We had reservations and only had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. The food was awesome as usual! Servers came by with all sorts of meat for us to try. Since it was Valentine's Day we ended up with a free meal card for another time. There were a lot of nice things to try on the salad bar and buffet line as well. Try to go when a sale is going on, the full experience is around $60 per person before drinks and dessert.

This is the fourth time we have been here and we love this place. The rooftop is amazing and the vibe is vibrant. So nice to have a high end restaurant that is not stuffy in Nocatee. Filet, salmon, asparagus and Brussels sprouts, focaccia are our go-to and all are delicious. Our friends had the escargot and loved it. The service is excellent- well staffed and everyone is trained to be incredibly accommodating.

Hangar One Bistro provided the perfect setting for our date night! We were seated at a lovely corner table by the window, which offered a fantastic view. Our server was exceptionally kind and attentive, enhancing our dining experience. The food was truly outstanding—some of the best we have ever enjoyed. I highly recommend the scallops and the black and blue ribeye; both dishes were exquisite. The crab cakes were unique in presentation, and the crème brûlée was freshly made, featuring the delightful contrast of a cold center and a warm top—a rarity these days! We also had the pleasure of sampling their Polish liqueur, which was delicious and delightfully potent. Overall, our experience at Hangar One Bistro was memorable, and we can't wait to return!

Everyone was amazing from entering the restaurant from check in to our Somalia, to our two waiters/waitresses. We had filet mignons that were cooked to perfection. One was well-done and the other was medium-rare. Our Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were delicious and savory. The wine…2018 Cab, Eco de Mar from Argentina, was the perfect compliment to our cuisine. We finished with a divine dessert. Absolutely a perfect dining experience. Everyone was lovely. We highly recommend Michael’s.

Valentine’s Day at Ruth’s Chris – Ponte Vedra I visited Ruth’s Chris in Ponte Vedra for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The complimentary valet service was a nice touch, and they even handed out roses, which made the night feel extra special. Our server, Terrence, was outstanding—very knowledgeable and attentive. When I ordered my meal, he initially told me they were out of the sweet potato casserole, but after I asked him to double-check, he was able to secure one for me, which I really appreciated! Everything I ordered was excellent, and I finished the night with a delicious crème brûlée for dessert. Overall, the service, ambiance, and food were top-tier. I’ll definitely be back!
