Not too intrusive and just enough to attend to your needs. At times we did have to wait for a second, but I attribute that to the busy Valentine's Day rush. Secondly, the atmosphere, was lovely. For those who want you're more lively setting I would recommend the indoor/bar/lounge areas. for quite an intimate setting, you'd want to sit outside. Speaking of outside - absolutely love the inter coastal view! Last but at least, the food! We had the Branzino, the truffle mushroom gnocchi, and spinach. Then we topped it off with the "piece de resistance," the butter cake! The plating and the flavor were incredible! I was lucky enough to score a table for the Valentine's Day and I can definitely say I'll be a repeat customer! - CCassandraVIPChicago / Illinois •96 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDune continues to provide an outstanding dining experience and remains my favorite high end restaurant in Ft Lauderdale. It is elegant in its contemporary design. The service is exceptional—gracious, unobtrusive, informative, friendly. The food is fitting for “foodies” yet robust enough for a broad range of tastes. Dune is wonderful for special celebrations or holidays like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day especially when they have musicians like a harpist or saxophonist and singers who add to the ambience. I highly recommend Dune.More infoDUNE By Laurent TourondelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lauderdale Beach•4.2
- RRALPHNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were seated quicking and had a reservation. Beautiful waterfront dining on the intercoastal waterway. Our server Ashley was excellent, friendly and very attentive. We were not rushed although the place filled up quickly. Ordered the sushi as an appy then went with their their fresh fish entrees. truely fresh and delicious. Portions were generous. For dessert we had the cheescake and the 5 layer chocolate cake. We were told all desserts were baked on premises by their pastry chef and it showed. The chocolate cake was HUGE for $ 14 no way to even attempt to finish it. If I had to pick on one item, not their fault, the sunset was blocked by a high building acroos the waterway.More infoShooters WaterfrontPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Lauderdale Beach•4.5

The atmosphere is so upbeat, staff is super friendly, the service is great and the options for food are terrific. We’re visiting from NY and stay in Miami Beach but we always try to get here at least once during our stay. I had blackened mahi mahi and it was delicious. The others chose a burger or salad and everyone was quite satisfied. My cousin drove down from Boca to meet us and he was thrilled with the Boatyard. A great choice for any occasion!More infoBoatyardPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Harbordale•4.6
- DDebraVIPKansas City / Kansas •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food and service were spectacular! The prices and noise level are both very high but the excellence of the food makes up for that. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, this would not be it but, if you’re looking for incredible taste and service, run, don’t walk!More infoSerafina by The WaterPrice: Expensive• Italian• Victoria Park•4.6
