Best Sushi Restaurants in La Vista

I had a date with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day and honestly it was better than we expected, the service was fast and everyone was very friendly; the food was delicious and of good quality, they recommended drinks and we loved them. For the date and how full the place was, they totally knew how to handle it and it was very fast.

Server was amazing. The ambiance suffered because it was Valentine’s Day and it felt like we were in a to go food assembly line. The restaurant was nearly empty because they hold tables for reservations and there were no walk ins on Valentine’s Day. Overall food was great, but it felt cold and the clear priority was takeout. A Brown paper bag staging area is not a good look.

Been to Kona a few times, I’ve always enjoyed it. This time seemed kinda bland. We ordered the Las Vegas roll and it had a bland and boring taste to it. The biggest thing I gotta bring (forewarning, I’m kinda dumb and don’t know my meats very well and didn’t even notice until I went to eat my left overs) up is that I had ordered the NY Strip with the potato things, but I was given a ribeye with asparagus. It’s no big deal. I still ate it and it was hella tasty. Oh, I skipped over appetizers. Chicken Satay. Hands down the best in Omaha. 69 stars. My date ordered the chicken and shrimp fried rice. It was tasty! With no drinks, I was shocked to see a bill of $150. Will I be coming back? Absolutely. The atmosphere is nice and the waitstaff is top notch. Okay love you.

The only negative out of the entire evening was that it took about 10 minutes to get seated. The food, the space, the ambiance and the value were exceptional.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent experience here for our date night wonderful ambiance, excellent food and friendly service. I am particularly picking about hollandaise sauce but the one they serve with the asparagus as a side for the filet mignon was one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone.
