Best Italian Restaurants in Streeterville

Old school Italian restaurant. The entrees were excellent and good portions. I wish they served fresh bread instead of the subpar rolls.

My husband and I have moved to the Asheville, NC area and only come back to the Chicago area once a year to see family. We have been missing Quartino, especially because they can accommodate my lactose intolerance. This year, we decided that we had to go to downtown Chicago just so we could go the Quartino and Eataly. It was even worth the horrible traffic getting downtown!

Great location, food was fantastic! We had several appetizers, deep dish pizza, lemon chicken, and pasta. The mulled wine was a lovely way to warm up!

We arrived for a nightcap and some dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was delicious and a great portion size! The ambiance reminded me of a library/speakeasy and was a great way to end the evening.

The food was delicious. If you choose a dish that requires table service you are in for a treat. The wait staff is attentive and answer questions in detail. I recommend this establishment as it is quite an experience and offers options not found in other Italian restaurants. The ambience is nice for a restaurant located on the second level of an Italian grocery store.
