- NNickSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had our appointment at 2 pm on Sunday. We ordered Mini Lobster Rolls, Filet, Branzino, Potato Puree, and two dessert Butterscotch Brulee and Affogato. Foods were really good, but the sad thing was, I wanted to order rib eye, and it was out! The environment was great. Beautiful decoration. Distance between each table was fine, not too crowded. Overall is 4.9 out of 5 (0.1 subtraction for no rib eye)More infoRH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Palo AltoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Palo Alto•4.4

With a great menu, helpful staff, and beautiful but intimate dining room, The Village Pub is a high-end dining experience without the bougie baggage of haute establishments. The cocktails are fun and balanced and the menu has some real knockouts: The plating and flavor on the Sunchoke Veloutê was very appealing. The Seared Hokkaido Scallops might have been the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. My wife loved the Crab Risotto. What made the experience special is connecting with staff, talking about dishes and recommendations, and having the kitchen send out some samples of things to try. Thanks Village Pub for a great night out!More infoThe Village PubPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Woodside•4.8

Favorite dishes include the spreads, the Evvia salad, Greek salad, avgolemono soup, anything with lamb and the whole fish. The pasta never disappoints and if you want a hearty dish their moussaka is the very best outside Greece.More infoEvviaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
