Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Lago Vista / Jonestown / Cedar Park

Great service and fantastic food. We were seated on time and the Chef’s Choice sashimi, sushi rolls, and flaming salmon didn’t disappoint. The sous vide pork ribs were a bit too salty and fatty, but the texture was good. We were impressed that the servers knew every item and all ingredients, even the 10 piece nigiri. Kudos to the staff and manager. Food was a bit slow to come out but perhaps due to the full house for the Valentine’s and Presidents Day weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

The Grove is wonderful, we've been for date nights, double dates, and Valentine's now. It's always a great experience and the food is delicious!

We enjoyed another great meal here this evening. We celebrated Valentine's Day. They have a nice salad bar, but of course you have to be really careful not to fill up on salad or you will be unable to enjoy the delicious bites of the wide variety of meats that they offer ! A few of our favorites are the filet mignon, the top sirloin, the bottom sirloin, the little chicken drumettes -the bacon wrapped chicken, the pork ribs, and they are now offering caramelized, pineapple, sliced right off the sword. My granddaughter and I could not get enough and probably had about four or five servings. It was absolutely delicious. They also bring a basket of Brazilian rolls, a small side of mashed potatoes and a small side of plantains , in all honesty they are really not needed, but it's very nice and makes your meal complete. I have to tell you those Brazilian cheese rolls are addictive!!! I didn't realize that Bitelo's is family owned and operated ! I was chatting with one of the young gentlemen that bring around the tasty meats and told him that I recognized many of the people that were serving and the manager as well and that's when I found out they are all siblings. That's truly amazing. They do an absolutely incredible job of customer service. In fact I don't know other restaurants where they pull your chair out. Wait for you to sit down, put your chair back in and place your napkin back in your lap! They are just so respectful and so kind. The ambience is very nice. They play some music in the background it's pleasant, but it definitely does not cause problems when you converse it's kept fairly low volume wise. The dining area is quite large and they have a beautiful bar on one side of the room, we also noticed a private dining area , so I'm sure that can be utilized for special events. The three of us really enjoyed our meal and had a great time !!

Service was really good. I did like the food mainly the dessert. The ambience was also very nice. I was not blown away by the veg tacos but thumbs up on the Nutella dessert.

We had not been back to Red Ash since before the Pandemic. Shame on us! Now we certainly will make a new reservation as soon as possible, which will probably be a few months from now. Red Ash is so popular that it is that difficult to get a table. But the wait is certainly worth it. This evening we tried the Octopus a la Plancha at our server, Emma's suggestion. Octopus for our first time. It was wonderfully delicious and tender. For dinner we split Frutti di Mare, a wonderful selection of seafood laid on a bed of the best black and white sphagettini. Cooked perfectly! Emma was the perfect hostess and we were able to reconnect with Brand Favata, our favorite server from six years ago. It seems that very few few employees leave Red Ash. It is such a wonderful restaurant!! We'll be back very soon.
